Privacy policy

Last reviewed 18 October 2026

Effective 18 October 2026. This policy covers solarpoweredwaterpumps.com, published by SolarPoweredWaterPumps.com, a Silicon Valley Ventures company. It describes what we collect, why, who processes it for us, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Cookies and your choice

Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies when it is allowed to run: _ga (distinguishes visitors, kept up to 2 years) and _ga_RBR0D6EXJP (keeps session state for this property, kept up to 2 years). We also store your choice in your browser's local storage under spwp.consent.analytics. Nothing else on this site sets a cookie of ours; Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact page may set its own.

Who processes it

These providers act on our behalf under their own terms. We also disclose information where the law requires it, to protect rights, safety or property, or as part of a sale or transfer of the site, in which case this policy continues to apply to information collected under it.

How long we keep it

Contact-form messages are not stored in any database on this site. They exist only as emails in our inbox, kept for as long as the correspondence is useful and generally no longer than two years. Server and network logs are kept by Vercel and Cloudflare for their standard periods.

Affiliate links

Some links go to merchants (Eco-Worthy, VEVOR and LiTime) through the Awin affiliate network. After you click, Awin and the merchant may set cookies on their own sites to record that you came from us, so a purchase can be credited. We receive commission reports from Awin; they do not identify you to us. See our affiliate disclosure.

Your privacy rights

Residents of California (CCPA as amended by the CPRA) and of other US states with comprehensive privacy laws have rights to know and access the personal information a business holds about them, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale, sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising, or use for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising or targeted advertising. We honour Global Privacy Control signals: a GPC signal switches Google Analytics off for your browser. We will not treat you differently for exercising a right.

Visitors in the UK and EEA have equivalent rights under the GDPR. Our lawful basis for answering a message is our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us; for analytics it is your consent.

How to make a request

Use the contact form and choose “A privacy request”. Tell us what you want us to do. We may need to confirm that the request comes from the person the information is about, usually by replying to the email address in question. We respond within 45 days, as US state laws require, and aim for 30. An authorised agent may make a request on your behalf with your signed permission.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, tell us through the contact form and we will delete it.

Security and transfers

Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit and our providers apply access controls. No system is perfectly secure. We and our providers process information in the United States.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the effective date and describe material changes on this page.
