1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of solarpoweredwaterpumps.com (the site), published by SolarPoweredWaterPumps.com, a Silicon Valley Ventures company. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

2. Information only, not professional advice

Everything on the site is general information. Calculator results and every sizing figure are planning estimates computed from public data and stated assumptions. They are not engineering, an installation design, a quote, or a guarantee that any product will perform as calculated at your site. Sunlight, water levels, well yield, pipe condition and product performance vary. Nothing here is legal, tax, financial or engineering advice.

3. Safety, codes and permits

• Solar arrays, controllers and batteries are electrical systems that can deliver dangerous voltage and current. Install them to the National Electrical Code, including Article 690 (solar photovoltaic systems), and to local code. Use a licensed electrician where code or your jurisdiction requires one.
• Work inside a water well (setting or pulling a pump, disinfecting, modifying the casing) is licensed in many states and can be dangerous. Use a licensed well or pump contractor where required.
• Drilling a well, diverting surface water or building in a waterway may require a permit or a water right. Check with your state water agency and county before you start.
• Follow the manufacturer's installation instructions and pump curves.

4. Grants and regulations

Summaries of USDA programmes and other rules are for orientation and can change. Confirm eligibility, deadlines and requirements with the agency before relying on them.

Where liability cannot be excluded it is limited to the extent the law allows.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Courts in New York County, New York have jurisdiction, except where the law of your residence gives you a right to bring a claim elsewhere.

10. Changes
